Saudi Arabia calls Yemeni's right parties to resolve via dialogue

JEDDAH, Aug 22 (KUNA) -- Saudi Arabia Thursday called on Yemeni parties to resolve their differences through dialogue and to unite and face the threats of Houthi militias.
Saudi Deputy Defense Minister Prince Khalid bin Salman met with Yemeni Southern Transitional Council headed by Idriss al-Zubaidi, to discuss security situation in the Yemeni capital Aden, according to Asharq Al-Awsat newspaper.
He praised the Saudi Transitional Council's acceptance of Saudi Arabia's call for dialogue and its response to the joint leadership request of the Coalition to Support Legitimacy in Yemen to ceasefire and end all forms of escalation, added the newspaper.
Head of the Southern Transitional Council Idriss Al-Zubaidi arrived in Jeddah on Tuesday evening in response to Saudi Arabia's call for dialogue between the Yemeni parties.
Meanwhile, Yemen is facing a rise of tension in the capital Aden and clashes between Yemeni government forces and the Southern Transitional Council forces that led to the latter's takeover of Aden and a number of government headquarters. (end) nsa.mk.hs
