Kuwaiti Minister of Interior with the US Ambassador to Kuwait Lawrence Silverman
KUWAIT, Aug 21 (KUNA) -- Kuwaiti Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Khaled Al-Jarrah Al-Sabah Wednesday affirmed the deep-rooted cooperation in all fields with the US, especially in security arena.
Sheikh Khaled Al-Jarrah made the remark during a meeting with the US Ambassador to Kuwait Lawrence Silverman, accompanied by Deputy Ambassador Larry Memmottt, where the two sides discussed a number of issues of common concern, Ministry of Interior said in a statement.
For his part, Ambassador Silverman praised Kuwait's vital role in stabilizing security and peacekeeping in the region, expressing his country's aspiration to continue coordination and cooperation with Kuwait, the statement added. (end)
