Kuwait bourse suspends 4 companies from trading
KUWAIT, Aug 18 (KUNA) -- Boursa Kuwait has suspended four listed companies from trading due to lack of financial statements and losses of more than 75 percent of their capital, said a statement by the stock exchange Sunday.
Boursa Kuwait added it had suspended Al-Kout Industrial Projects Company for failing to submit financial statements on March 31 this year, and Ithmaar Holding and Yako Medical Companies for losses exceeding 75 percent of the capital.
Based on the General Assembly of the International Financial Advisors Holding Company (IFA) decision, which approved the reduction of the capital, it was decided to suspend the company's shares from trading from Monday to Sunday until completing the reduction procedures, where trading will return at the 26th this month.
