GAZA, Aug 17 (KUNA) -- Israeli forces on Saturday shelled farm lands near the Beit Lahia area in the northern Gaza Strip, but no casualties were reported, said Palestinian Wafa news agency.
An Apache fired a missile at a site north of Beit Lahia and destroyed it, causing no casualties, it added.
This came after the Israeli army announced the interception of two rockets out of three rockets fired from the Gaza Strip last night.
In a press statement, a spokesperson for the Israeli army said that one rocket crashed in the courtyard of a house in Sderot settlement resulted in a number of injuries.
On Friday, the Israeli army bombed several positions of the Palestinian resistance factions after a rocket crashed on an Israeli territory. (end)
