Kuwait condemns attack targeted Saudi oil field

KUWAIT, Aug 17 (KUNA) -- Kuwait on Saturday denounced the drone attack targeted Shaybah Oil Field in the southeast of Saudi Arabia, causing minor damages.
This action aimed at destabilizing the security and stability of the Kingdom and the global energy supply, and requires an international effort to avoid crises and conflicts, and more tension in the region, said an official source in Kuwait Foreign Ministry in a statement.
The source affirmed Kuwait's full support to Saudi Arabia and to all measures taken to maintain its security and stability.
Saudi Arabia announced earlier that a terrorist drone attack targeted Shaybah Oil Field in southeastern the Kingdom causing minor damages. (end) aa
