MADRID, Aug 14 (KUNA) -- Sevilla have officially completed the signing of Monaco midfielder and Portugal international Rony Lopes, according to reports in Spain.
The 24-year old midfielder has signed a five-year contract with Sevilla, the Andalusian club's official website reported, which added that he would be unveiled to the home crowd later on Wednesday.
Born in Brazil, Lopes spent his youth career at Benfica and Manchester City before joining Monaco in 2015.
Lopes' move to Sevilla is part of a deal worth 40 million euros (USD 44.7 million) which takes striker Wissam Ben Yedder to the Ligue 1 club .
He has netted 21 goals and provided 14 assists over the course of his tenure in Monaco. (end)
