Hajj season this year free of epidemics, incidents - Saudi Min.

JEDDAH, Aug 13 (KUNA) -- The Hajj season this year (2019) is free of epidemics and incidents that affect public health and has been marked with success of health pilgrimage plans, said Saudi Arabia's Minister of Health Dr. Tawfiq Al-Rabiah on Tuesday.
In a press statement published by the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), Al-Rabiah affirmed that the ministry prepared for Hajj early this year and issued the requirements and health recommendations and published on its website, as well as distribution to all embassies and Hajj missions in the countries of pilgrims.
The Minister stressed that the ministry implemented a pilgrimage this year in cooperation with the World Health Organization (WHO).
More than 1.6 million pilgrims benefited from preventive and ambulatory services in the health outlets that the ministry has prepared this year, he added.
He also noted that the ministry launched this year for the first time Robot Medical Consulting Service and provided machine translation devices for 120 languages in hospitals and primary care centers. (end) nsa.aa
