KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 13 (KUNA) -- A young man stabbed and injured a woman with a sharp object on a busy street in Sydney on Tuesday, police reported.
He attempted to attack other people but nearby pedestrians chased and overcame him before he was taken away by police officers.
Police reported that a dead body was found close to the scene, but it was still undetermined whether the person's death was related to the incident.
Stabbing and stampeding incidents happened in Australia last year and the notorious group, the so-called Islamic State, claimed responsibility for the attacks. (end) aib.rk
