MOSCOW, July 23 (KUNA) -- Russia said on Tuesday that Israel's annihilation of tens of Palestinian homes in the town of Sur Baher in East Jerusalem constitutes a violation of the international law.
The Israeli practices in the occupied Palestinian territories are illegal under the international law, the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
These practices also undermine efforts aiming to resolve the Israeli-Palestinian conflict based on a two-state solution, it added.
The statement called on the Israeli authorities to reconsider these measures and avoid committing similar acts in the future, it noted. (end)
