Kuwait in deep concern by escalating regional developments

KUWAIT, July 21 (KUNA) -- Kuwait is following with deep concern regional developments after the seizure of a British oil tanker, stressing these actions would increase escalation and tensions and put navigation safety under direct threat.
The international community was called on to accelerate diplomacy efforts to contain these tensions and ensure all parties are committed to exercising restraint and respecting international maritime law, a senior Foreign Ministry source was quoted as saying.
