KUWAIT, July 19 (KUNA) -- His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah on Friday congratulated Egyptian President Abdelfattah El-Sisi on hosting a successful Africa Cup of Nations.
The event concluded with Algeria being crowned champions for the second time after an early goal gave them a 1-0 lead over Senegal.
His Highness the Amir, in a cable, praised the preperations made ahead of the important continental football tournament and facilities made available to the competing sides.
His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah both sent similar cables. (end)
