AFESD lends Oman USD 295 mln

MUSCAT, July 16 (KUNA) -- Oman signed a deal on Tuesday with the Kuwait-based Arab Fund for Economic and Social Development (AFESD) for a loan of approximately USD 295.1 million.
Oman's News Agency mentioned the first part of the deal which amounts to USD 98.7 million to finance the development project of the second stage of the 32nd road in Duqm, a rising economic city.
The second part deal is worth USD 196.4 million and is aimed at funding Oman Housing Bank to finance provide loans for the citizens. (end) me.aq
