Int'l women org. awards Kuwaiti inventor Double Gold prize in UK

LONDON, June 29 (KUNA) -- The Global Women Inventors and Innovators Network (GWIIN) has awarded Kuwait's Engineer Jenan Al-Shehab the Double Gold prize in recognition of her invention "electromagnetic cells for wireless electricity transmission." The Double Gold is GWIIN's top-level prize, and part of a global recognition of exceptional inventions, Al-Shehab, whose invention obtained a patent from the US Patent and Trademark Office, told KUNA Friday night.
The invention was fully displayed to male/female inventors of various world countries, as well as an international judging panel consisted of nine members specialized in medicine and engineering, in addition to a number of academic professors and international investors, she noted.
The Kuwaiti inventor also mentioned that her nomination for GWIIN awards came after she had won the gold medal at the 22nd Moscow International Inventions and Innovative Technology Salon "Archimedes," held in Moscow last March.
Al-Shehab said her invention is the fruit of Electrodis Est. for manufacturing electromagnetic cells and smart electronic devices, which she founded in 2016. (end) mrn.ma
