KUWAIT, June 28 (KUNA) -- Brazil managed to defeat Paraguay 4-3 in a penalty shootout after ending full-time in a 0-0 draw.
The match saw Paraguay's Fabian Balbuena receiving a red card. Brazil advances to the semifinal of the tournament its' hosting.
Later on today, Venezuela will face Argentina in a similar match. On Saturday, Colombia and Chile as well as Uruguay and Peru will square off in other quarterfinal matches. (end)
