VIENNA, June 26 (KUNA) -- The Kuwaiti Ambassador to Romania Talal Al-Hajri affirmed on Wednesday necessity to boost mutual investments and commercial exchanges between Romania and Kuwait.
Ambassador Al-Hajri, who was speaking to KUNA in aftermath of visit by a delegation of the Public Investment Authority, said the Romanians presented a number of investments opportunities in the sectors of electronics, auto spare parts, medium and small enterprise.
Romanian Minister of Business Environment, Trade and Entrepreneurship Stefan-Radu Oprea, along with a state minister in charge of treasury affairs, briefed the Kuwaiti delegation about a new strategy for partnership between the private and public sectors.
Reciprocal visits by officials of the two countries play a key role in cementing the economic cooperation and the distinctive relationship between the two friendly countries, Al-Hajri said, indicating that Romania is ready to partake in some ventures of Kuwait's development strategy, Vision 2035.
He has also affirmed necessity of enhancing business and economic cooperation with various states throughout the world, in implementation of His Highness the Amir vision to transform Kuwait into a financial-commercial center, proceeding with the development scheme and implementation of the 2035 plan.
