The 1st planning session for the "Eagles Resolve 2020" military drill
KUWAIT, June 16 (KUNA) -- Defense Ministry announced Sunday that the first planning session for the "Eagles Resolve 2020" military drill was held with army chiefs in the GCC, Egypt, Jordan, and the United States.
A press release by the ministry indicated that the session's goal was to prepare the country for the drill scheduled on March of 2020.
The statement added that the drill, held first in Bahrain in 2000, was to develop involved parties military cooperation and coordination.
Kuwait hosted the strategically important drill on three occasions. (end)
