VIENNA, June 15 (KUNA) -- OPEC member states could hold their 176th meeting early July in lieu of the scheduled date of June 25-26, Austrian official and OPEC-related sources said Saturday.
Logistic organizers are locked in trouble due to real difficulties, chiefly uncertainty over the ministerial OPEC meeting due late this month, the sources, on anonymity, told KUNA.
This comes after both Saudi and Russian oil ministers hinted during a recent meeting that they could put the expected OPEC meeting on the back burner, the sources said.
However, the OPEC Secretariat has not made any comment about a possible delay of the gathering, the sources added. (end)
