Arab League reiterates condemnation of Houthi attacks against Saudi Arabia

CAIRO, May 21 (KUNA) -- The Arab League on Tuesday reiterated condemnation of ballistic missile attacks by the Houthi militia that targeted the holy city of Makkah on Monday, underlining severity of such "terrorist acts." Arab League Secretary General Ahmad Abul-Gheit said in a statement that these acts pose a serious threat to regional and international security, voicing at the same time the Arab bloc's full support for Saudi Arabia in the face of terrorist threats that trigger regional chaos.
Yesterday, the Saudi-led coalition supporting legitimacy in Yemen said it destroyed "hostile targets" flying over "restricted areas" in Jeddah and Taef. (end) mfm.hb
