RIYADH, May 21 (KUNA) -- Saudi Arabia announced Tuesday detecting an unmanned explosives-laden drone hovering over a civilian area in Najran, southern the Kingdom, Saudi Press Agency reported.
Coalition spokesman Col. Turki Al-Malki accused the Iranian-backed Houthi militia from within Yemen of operating the drone, accusing the militia of carrying on with its terrorist schemes that represent a grave danger to regional and international security.
He warned the militia, noting that "firm and deterrent" means would be used in the future to respond to such attacks. (end)
