KUWAIT, May 18 (KUNA) -- The Public Authority for Roads and Transportation (PART) announced the new diversion on the alternative road of Nuwaiseeb highway will be open for traffic as of Sunday morning.
The new diversion starting at the 59th km. of the road extends for 1,400 km., PART said in a statement on Saturday.
The Authority noted that it prepared a plan for carrying out 74 road and infrastructure projects in collaboration with the traffic dept. to ease traffic across the country. (end)
