JEDDAH, May 14 (KUNA) -- The Muslim World League (MWL) and the Yemeni government condemned on Tuesday the attacks by drones on two oil pump stations in Saudi Arabia.
Such criminal acts reflect the level of terrorist organizations that use hatred and corruption, the Secretary General of Muslim World League and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the World Organization of Muslim Scholars Dr. Mohammad Al-Issa said in a statement.
Al-Issa stressed that this will not only increase the kingdom's determination, approach, and resolve to confront the forces behind these acts.
Meanwhile, the Yemeni government condemned as well the "cowardly terrorist attack" on the two oil pumping stations.
"The Yemeni Republic affirms its stand with brothers in Saudi Arabia and supports all measures taken to maintain its security and stability and to confront terrorism in all its forms," a government statement quoted by Yemen News Agency (SABA) as saying.
The government pointed out "the threat of Houthi militia backed by Iran is threatening security and regional stability and international peace and security." Earlier, Saudi Arabia said two oil-pumping stations of Saudi Aramco in Dawadmi and Afif Governorates in Riyadh Region were targeted by drone attack, which was controlled afterwards. (end) nsa.sns.mb
