KUWAIT, April 23 (KUNA) -- His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah on Tuesday congratulated Kuwait SC on winning His Highness the Amir football cup for 2019 season.
In a cable sent to Kuwait S.C Board Chairman Khaled Ali Al-Ghanim, His Highness the Amir congratulated the club chairman, board, and all members on winning the trophy after defeating Qadsia S.C in the final match held today in the Jaber Al-Ahmad International Stadium.
His Highness the Amir hailed the two teams' sportsmanship spirit, fair play, and impressive performance.
He also acclaimed the honorable high competitiveness among all participating teams.
His Highness the Amir wished success for all Kuwaiti clubs to help elevate the standing of national sports.
His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah sent similar cables to Kuwait S.C chairman. (end)
