KAFCO wins int'l fleet safety award for eight consecutive year

KUWAIT, April 18 (KUNA) -- Britain's Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) handed Kuwait Aviation Fueling Co (KAFCO) its Gold Award for fleet safety for the eighth year in a row.
The Kuwaiti state-owned firm will receive the award at the UK registered charity organisation's annual ceremony in London slated for June, it said in a statement.
KAFCO is dedicated to applying the highest labour safety and environmental standards, director for financial and administrative affairs Mishal Al-Tenaib underlined.
Recipients of the award are judged in relation to "verifiable historical performance data of accidents and the identification of an effective, cohesive corporate road risk management programme," according to RoSPA. (end) asj.sd
