DOHA, April 18 (KUNA) -- Thousands of construction workers, using a large number of cranes and other machinery, are working relentlessly around the clock to complete Sabah Al-Ahmad Corridor, a massive infrastructure project in Qatar.
The corridor links nearly 15 highways among vital economic, commercial, educational and health facilities in Doha including Hamad International Airport.
It spans across the city from the south to the north to connect more than 25 neighborhoods with high population density.
The landmark project includes the first suspended causeway in the State of Qatar, which is 1,200 meters long, and a 2.6 km.-long overpass; the country's longest. (end) nnd.gb
