KUWAIT, April 18 (KUNA) -- 1968 -- Shuaiba refinery went into actual operation.
1983 -- The Amir Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah issued a decree on combating narcotics and limiting their usage for medical purposes.
2000 -- National Assembly approved a law on supporting national manpower to work in the private sector.
2004 -- Women Sports Club was ranked first in the 2nd Gulf Table Tennis tourney in Bahrain.
2005 -- National Assembly approved a law on amending some provisions of the housing care services.
2010 -- The 10th camel racing tournament kicked off under the auspices of His Highness the Amir with Gulf and Arab participation.
2012 -- Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development signed a USD six million grant agreement with Yemen.
2016 - Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development donates AUD 1.4 million for building a mosque and Sabah Al-Ahmad Center for Islamic Studies at Canberra Islamic Center in Australia.
