KUWAIT, April 8 (KUNA) -- The Kuwaiti-Moroccan Higher Joint Committee will start its ninth meeting on Tuesday; chaired by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Sabah Al-Khalid Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, while the Moroccan Minister of Foreign Affairs Nasser Bourita will head the Moroccan side.
Both sides are expected to discuss ways of strengthening bilateral relations in all fields, as well as discussing issues of mutual interest on the regional and international scenes.
The meeting will be attended by working teams from both countries, covering various vital fields such as foreign affairs, consular, economic, trade, investment, cultural, scientific, sports and environment.
Over the two past days, working teams discussed a number of topics on cooperation, most notably the implementation of agreements and memorandums of understanding signed during the eighth session of the joint high committee between Kuwait and Morocco at previous sessions.
They also discussed accomplishments made so far, conventions, memorandums of work and understanding in order to conclude them during the current session.
The adoption of the current session's final Declaration was also discussed.(end)
