Qatari Amir hosts Kuwaiti parliament speaker discussing means of cementing bonds

DOHA, April 7 (KUNA) -- Qatari Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani received, at the Amiri Diwan on Sunday, the visiting Speaker of the Kuwaiti National Assembly Marzouq Ali Al-Ghanim and the accompanying delegation.
The Kuwaiti parliament speaker conveyed to Sheikh Tamim greetings from His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and his good wishes for the State of Qatar. For his turn, Sheikh Tamim asked Al-Ghanim to relay his tributes to His Highness the Amir and His Highness the (Deputy Amir) the Crown Prince, Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.
The two sides examined, during the meeting, the historic and brotherly relations between the two countries, necessity to bolster further these bonds, in addition to latest developments on the regional arena.
The meeting was attended by Secretary of the (Kuwaiti) National Assembly and the parliamentary caucus, MP Dr. Odah Al-Ruwaiee, the caucus treasurer MP Mohammad Al-Dallal, MP Safaa Al-Hashem, as well as the State of Kuwait Ambassador to the State of Qatar, Hafidh Al-Ajmi. (end) nnd.rk
