KUWAIT, March 26 (KUNA) -- One can grow mildly intoxicated with the powerful yet wonderful whiffs engulfing the camel race arena after crowning the winners.
The feeling would seep in because of the henna-like saffron mixture smeared on the camels' heads and necks; a tradition and gesture to honor and reward the winning camels.
Ingredients of the yellowish and heavily-scented putty mainly include rosewater and musk, in addition to 10 other kinds of Arabian perfumes and aromatic herbs. (end) hb
