KUWAIT, March 23 (KUNA) -- The 30th session of future generations festival came to a close on Saturday with displaying a play.
The festival attended by a large number of children was organized by the National Council for Culture, Arts and Letters (NCCAL).
The play, performed at Abudl-Hosein Abdul-Redha Theater, contained varied educational values in a comic way and a simple dialogue to benefit children.
The performance included beautiful songs for children and aimed to help child be responsible for him/herself and maintain his/her homes and families.
It also gives lessons to child on cleanliness and punctuality as well as respecting the youngest and the elderly.
The play was acted by Somoud Al-Kandari, Iman Al-Huseini, Maitham Bader, Aziz Bahbahani, Jana Al-Failakawi, Rahaf Mohammad, Iman Faisal, Khaled Al-Ahmad, Abudllah Haitham and Layli Dehrab.
The festival which was kicked off on March 14 included several activities and performances directed to children and their parents.
These activities and performances aimed to create a humorous culture for children, and help them discover their talents and develop their skills.
The event also contained several cultural events, lectures, programs and workshops for children. (end) shh.hm
