Kuwait bourse posts gains in week's final session

KUWAIT, March 21 (KUNA) -- Boursa Kuwait ended Thursday's session, the final one before weekend, with the All Share Market Index rising by 56.9 points to the level of 5,519 points, rising by 1.04 percent.
The trade volume under the benchmark amounted to 199 million shares, done through 7,227 spots deals, valued at KD 44.5 million (USD 146.8 million).
Main Market Index climbed 23.8 points to the level of 4,812.9, 0.05 percent, through share volume amounting to 102.2 million stocks, done through 3,394 spot transactions, with a spot value at KD 6.7 million (approximately USD 22 million).
All Share Market Index increased 73 points to 5,890 points, by 1.2 percent, through share volume amounting to 6.7 million, done through 3,833 deals, valued at KD 37.7 million (some USD 124 million). (end) ht.rk
