SHARJAH, Mar 21 (KUNA) -- Kuwait's Information Ministry Assistant Undersecretary for News and Political Programs Mohammad bin Naji affirmed Thursday on the ministry keenness to develop goverment's communication with the public by all means of modern and social media methods.
Bin Naji made his remarks, in a statement to KUNA, on the sidelines of his participation in the eighth International Government Communication Forum, which included a number of Arab and foreign media experts to discuss developments in the government communication field.
He added that it is Kuwait's third participation in the forum under the patronage of Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah Dr Sheikh Sultan Bin Muhammad Al Qasimi.
He pointed out that the ministry is inspired to adopt some ideas and modern methods in communication, stressing that government communication is very important in promoting state projects and programs.
Bin Naji praised participants in the forum, and thanking Sharjah's government for the invitation.
This year's forum was held under the slogan of "Behavioral Change towards Human Development." (end) smr.gaa
