Four Palestinians injured in air strikes on Gaza

GAZA, March 15 (KUNA) -- Four Palestinians were wounded or suffered burns in a series of Israeli air strikes on 100 positions in Gaza Strip early on Friday.
A spokesman of the health department in Gaza said in a statement that four people were wounded and suffered burns in the air attacks. Among the injured were a man and his wife in the border town of Rafah.
Meanwhile, a spokesman of the Israeli Army said in a statement that the air force jet fighters raided 100 targets belonging to the Islamic group Hamas in the strip, in retaliation for the latest missile attack that targeted Tel Aviv.
The air strikes targeted buildings used by Hamas for manufacturing missiles, in addition to positions and "military gatherings," he added.
The Palestinian authority, in charge of holding weekly protests along the strip demarcation lines, declared cancelling today's demonstration due to the developments. (pickup previous) wab.rk
