Moroccan, Emirati officials discuss ways to strengthen bilateral ties

RABAT, March 11 (KUNA) -- Moroccan Prime Minister Saadeddin Othmani on Monday discussed with the Chairman of UAE Federal National Council Amal Al-Qubaisi ways to strengthen the Moroccan-Emirati relations.
"The association between Morocco and the UAE is rooted, humane and fraternal, and the friendship between the two peoples is permanent and continuous," a government statement quoted Othmani as saying.
He also praised the Moroccan-Emirati relations in the political arena and what is being done to strengthen these relations to other economic and cultural fields.
For her part, Al-Qubaisi reiterated her country's position on the Moroccan territorial integrity, saying that the "sovereignty of Morocco does not accept any dispute." She expressed content for the Moroccan-Emirati relations and hoped to develop them, particularly in the fields of higher education, traditional industry and sustainable development.
Al-Qubaisi visits Rabat as part of the meetings of the 14th conference of the Parliamentary Union of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation's Member States (PUIC). (end) jn.aa
