RABAT, March 10 (KUNA) -- Kuwaiti Parliament Speaker Marzouq Al-Ghanim and his accompanying delegation arrived in Morocco Sunday to participate in the 14th conference of the Parliamentary Union of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation's Member States (PUIC).
Deputy Speaker of the Moroccan House of Representatives Rashid Al-Abdi, Kuwait's Ambassador to Morocco Abdullatif Al-Yahya and a number of embassy staff, received Al-Ghanim at the airport.
Speaker Al-Ghanim will deliver a speech to the conference, while he and his delegation will also participate in the coordination meeting of the Arab Group in order to coordinate positions on the issues on conference agenda.
The delegation of the Kuwaiti Parliamentary caucus participates in the meetings of the Standing and Sub-Committees of the Union, among them the Standing Committee of Palestine, the Committee on Political Affairs and External Relations, the Commission on Human Rights and Women, the Eighth Session of the Conference of Women Parliamentarians and the Second Meeting of the Assembly of Secretaries.
The delegation includes Parliamentary Caucus deputy chairman MP Rakan Al-Nisf, and its Secretary General Dr. Awdah Al-Ruwaie and other members. (pick up previous) Jk.aa
