Ethiopian Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Herut Zemene meets the Kuwaiti acting assistant foreign minister for African affairs, Counsellor Hamad Al-Meshaan
CAIRO, Feb 20 (KUNA) -- Ethiopian Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Herut Zemene on Wednesday praised the vital role undertaken by His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah for tackling "the Gulf rift."
The minister, during a meeting held in Ethiopia with the Kuwaiti acting assistant foreign minister for African affairs, Counsellor Hamad Al-Meshaan, lauded wisdom of His Highness and his bids to resolve the inter-GCC dispute.
She highly valued Kuwait's role in the Security Council and its cooperation with Ethiopia at this quarter as well as its contributions to development schemes in her country.
For his part, Al-Meshaan congratulated minister Zemene on restoration of peace with Eritrea.
Counsellor Al-Meshaan discussed with the Ethiopian official employment of "trained workers" in Kuwait and agreed to dispatch a delegation to Kuwait soon to ink an agreement in this respect. (end)
