Two policemen, one terrorist killed in Cairo blast

CAIRO, Feb 18 (KUNA) -- Two Egyptian policemen and one terrorist were killed in an explosion during a security raid in Al-Darb Al-Ahmar district in Cairo on Monday, the Ministry of Interior announced.
Three other policemen were wounded in the blast which took place when police forces surrounded and tried to arrest the terrorist, the ministry pointed out.
It noted that the terrorist was accused of planting the improvised explosive device which exploded near a police checkpoint in Giza governorate on Friday. (end) ms.ibi
