Kuwaiti Information Ministry acting undersecretary Mohammad Al-Awash
KUWAIT, Feb 17 (KUNA) -- The Kuwaiti Information Ministry on Sunday launched a wide-scale media campaign to promote Kuwait's 2035 development vision directed by His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.
Attending the country's national celebrations, the effort is primarily intended to highlight the core aspects of Kuwait's national development drive, a senior ministry official told KUNA.
The ministry's acting undersecretary Mohammad Al-Awash listed the aspects as effective government administration, diversified economy, developed infrastructure, sustainable living environment, distinguished international status, creative human capital and high-quality medical care.
Co-organized by the Information Ministry and the Supreme Council for Planning and Development (SCPD), the six-week campaign features intensive media activities, and development programs and movies via Kuwait Radio and TV as well as local and foreign channels, added Al-Awash, the head of the development plan media team.
He underlined that the media campaign would inevitably contribute to demonstrating Kuwait's civilized image. (end)
