Arab Parliament condemns terrorist attack on Egypt's Al-Areesh

CAIRO, Feb 17 (KUNA) -- Arab Parliament condemned on Sunday the "coward" terrorist attack on a checkpoint in Al-Areesh, Egypt.
Arab Parliament President Mishal Al-Selmiy reaffirmed the support of the parliament towards Egypt against this heinous act of terrorism.
Al-Selmiy also saluted the Egyptian Armed Forces for defusing the terrorists' plans.
On Saturday, seven gunmen were killed while they attempted to attack the security checkpoint in Al-Areesh.
The incident also resulted in 15 casualties amongst Egyptian military personnel. (end) mfm.asm.bb
