1931 -- Abdullah Al-Khalaf Al-Dehayan, an intellectual figure and a religious scholar, passes away at the age of 57.
1932 -- The Amir Sheikh Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah issues the first municipality law that decentralizes government to meet demands for urban expansion.
1960 -- Kuwait joins the Universal Postal Union.
1965 -- The National Assembly accepts resignation of Speaker Abdulaziz Al-Saqer, and Saud Al-Abdulrazzaq is elected to succeed him.
1978 -- An Amiri decree is issued forming the country's 10th government, headed by the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Sheikh Saad Al-Abdullah Al-Salem Al-Sabah, and comprising 18 ministers.
1986 -- Inauguration of Kuwait Museum's planetarium takes place.
1993 -- Kuwait and Russia signs in Kuwait a memorandum of understanding for defense cooperation.
1997 -- Kuwait Investment Company crafts a price index based on market value of the 60 listed companies.
2002 -- Kuwait Public Transport Company inaugurates the Ras Al-Ardh Port project.
2002 -- Information Minister and Acting Oil Minister Sheikh Ahmad Al-Fahad Al-Sabah reopens Kuwait Museum's planetarium after being renovated from damage caused by the 1990 Iraq invasion.
2004 -- Chairman of Kuwait's Shooting Federation Sheikh Salman Al-Sabah wins uncontested the chairmanship of the Asian Shooting Confederation.
2008 -- President of the Comoros Ahmed Sambi decorates Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Dr. Mohammad Salem Al-Sabah with a special honor, in appreciation for Kuwaiti support for his country.
2016 -- Kuwait and Egypt signs agreements, memos, and deals during the 11th meeting for the Egyptian-Kuwaiti committee meeting in Cairo.
