Oman plans to expand oil operations in Saudi Arabia, Tanzania - executive

MUSCAT, Feb 10 (KUNA) -- Oman Oil Marketing Company (OOMCO) announced Sunday a plan to expand its operations in Saudi Arabia and Tanzania.
The company decided to start its plan in neighboring countries due for their significant similarities to the Omani market, particularly in business and consumers, OOMCO's CEO David Kalife said in a press statement.
Currently, there is a major growth in Tanzania, especially in the number of vehicles, in addition to its economic and political stability, noted Kalife.
OOMCO aims to promote the Sultanate abroad and be among the top five fuel marketers in the Gulf region by 2025, he said.
It also plans to acquire 40 percent of Omani market share, increase lubricants distribution, and expand its fuel service stations across the Sultanate. (end) me.ma
