Speakers of Kuwait, Cyprus hold talks ahead of Int'l conference

GENEVA, Feb 8 (KUNA) -- Speaker of the Kuwaiti National Assembly (Parliament) Marzouq Ali Al-Ghanim held a meeting on Friday with his Cypriot counterpart, Demetris Syllouris, on sidelines the first meeting of the Preparatory Committee for the Fifth World Conference of Speakers of Parliament.
The two sides discussed coordination of stances on issues that would be addressed at the international convention. (end) ta.rk
