AMMAN, Jan 30 (KUNA) -- King Abdullah II of Jordan on Wednesday affirmed necessity of coordination among Arab states toward diverse issues and crises concerning the Arab nation.
The Royal Court (Diwan) said in a statement that the monarch made the assertion during a meeting with the visiting Kuwait Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, along with the latter's counterparts from Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Bahrain and Egypt.
The meeting was held at Al-Hussainiyah Palace in Amman, on margins of the Arab ministerial consultative meeting.
King Abdullah during the meeting emphasized depth of the brotherly bonds between the kingdom with the "Arab brothers." He also underlined necessity of resolving the Palestinian-Israeli conflict on basis of the two states and the Arab peace initiative. (pickup previous) mjb.rk
