Bassam Al-Rawi scored the sole goal in the 62nd minute as The Maroons edged a 1-0 win over Iraq at Abu Dhabi's Al-Nahyan Stadium.
In their subsequent fixture, South Korean's Kim Jin-su left it late in added time to regain Hwang Hee-chan's 43rd minute lead, which was later cancelled out by Mohammad Al-Rumaihi.
