Emirati Al-Sayegh re-elected chief of Arab Writers Union

ABU DHABI, Jan 21 (KUNA) -- Habib Al-Sayegh, chairman of the Emirates Writers Union, was re-elected Monday a secretary general of the Arab Writers Union.
Al-Sayegh was elected by the board members of the Arab Writers Union on the sidelines of the 27th conference of the Arab Writers Union currently held in Abu Dhabi.
"Empowering Arab young writers and achieving a real partnership in Arab culture work would be a top priority for me during my second term in office," Al-Sayegh told reporters after the election.
He noted that the 27th conference would concluded Tuesday and the 28th conference of the union would be held in Tunisia in January 2023. (end) bsu.ibi
