His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah heads Supreme Petroleum Council meeting
KUWAIT, Jan 17 (KUNA) -- His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah headed at Seif Palace on Thursday the 121st meeting of Kuwait's Supreme Petroleum Council (SPC).
Welcoming the new board, His Highness congratulated the members on the trust bestowed on them by His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah AL-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah to set out effective policies that would contribute to boosting the country's national resources.
His Highness the Premier pointed out that the new council formation comes amidst many regional and international geopolitical changes that have, and would definitely and clearly impact the oil industry.
Such matter requires the council to shoulder its responsibility towards achieving aspirations of the Kuwaiti people, His Highness Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak said, addressing the meeting. (end)
