Kuwait Min. Al-Aqeel affirms approach to diversify national production

KUWAIT, Jan 14 (KUNA) -- Kuwaiti Minister of State for Economic Affairs Mariam Al-Aqeel on Monday affirmed the state efforts for diversifying production, through medium and small enterprises, as a parallel income to the national income and a major basis for backing up the economy.
In a statement inaugurating HORECA Kuwait Exhibition, the minister affirmed the government resolve to push forward the process of development, in cooperation with the private sector and as part of the approach to realize New Kuwait Vision 2035.
The government dedicates special concern of backing the national manufacturing, particularly food products, for they constitute the core for the strategic nutrition security, she has elaborated. (end) skm.rk
