ALGIERS, Jan 13 (KUNA) -- Stormy weather gripping this north African nation has claimed at least eight lives, the national security directorate said on Sunday.
More than 27 people have been injured in accidents related to the heavy rains and snow, it said.
Authorities are struggling to reopen a large number of roads that have been blocked with high heaps of snow throughout the nation. (end)
