Qatar overwhelms N. Korea with six goals

ABU DHABI, Jan 13 (KUNA) -- Qatar thrashed North Korea with a crushing score, 6-0, in a match played on Sunday, as part of the second round of the 17TH Asian Football Cup (AFC).
Al-Muez Ali scored in the 9th minute, the 11th, the 55th and the 60th. Boualem Khoukhi hit the net in 43rd minute and Abulkarim Hussein in the 68th.
Qatar and Saudi Arabia have been qualified to the next (16th) round of the tournament -- each with six points.
Group five also includes Saudi Arabia and Lebanon. The Saudis had beaten the Lebanese and North Koreans.
In Group 6, Oman hopes to gain three points against Japan, the four-time champion, after losing to Uzbekistan in the first round. (end) kns.ag.rk
