Two men arrested in Paris airport fake gun incident - media

PARIS, Dec 26 (KUNA) -- Two men were arrested by security services in Paris Charles de Gaulle (Roissy) airport early Wednesday after they took out what appeared to be automatic weapons at the airport, local media reported.
Panic ensued after the weapons were displayed by the men, but security sources quickly intervened to detain them and determined they were "airsoft" toy guns and not real weapons, "France Info" said.
Services were gradually getting back to normal after the incident.
France is on high anti-terror alert since January 2015 which started a spate of gun, bomb and knife attacks that have left around 250 dead and hundreds wounded.
Close to 10,000 troops have been mobilised to help protect potential target sites like airports, train stations, government buildings, religious sites and tourist destinations in Paris and around the country. (end) jk.tg
