GAZA, Dec 14 (KUNA) -- At least 75 Palestinian people on Friday were injured by the Israeli occupation army during protests staged on the right of return and breaking the siege on the Gaza border.
Those people were suffering from different injuries, spokesman for Health Ministry in the Gaza Strip Ashraf Al-Qedra said in a statement, adding that among the wounded were seven medics and a journalist.
Palestinians flocked to the Gaza Strip border to take part in the protests holding up the Palestinian flags, eyewitnesses told KUNA.
The protesters stressed their right to resistance, while the Israeli army suppressed and prevented them from approaching the barbed wires, amid heavy fire and tear gas. (end)
